Rude City Riot is an eight piece band from Vancouver, BC  Canada.  Their fans describe their sound as "Power-Ska" because it comes from the unique blend of influences that come together though the musicians in RCR.  Always start with Ska and then add equal parts Rock, Reggae, Punk and Soul - mix it up good, shaken, not stirred  and you start to get the idea.

This band is impossible to stand or sit still to,  impossible.  You can't take your eyes off the band for a second or you will miss something because they use every inch of what ever stage they happen to be on at the time. Rude City Riot on stage playing live is magnetic and very intertaining visually but even that won't distract you from the fact that the level of musicianship in this Ska band is beyond impressive. The solo power in this band is hard to match what with the blistering leads from either guitar or horn player as well as bass and keyboards. 

Rude City Riot is currently touring in support of their latest release on Stomp Records titled "Nothin But Time". Dustin Lionheart, singer and primary songwriter along with guitarist Scott Atkins has been writing Ska songs togetherin Ska bands since they were 14 years old and it shows on this 14 song record.
